But: choose a North Star in life, something that is bigger than yourself, something that is good. Let it be God, if it's God for you. Let it be your family, your community, in the here and now. Let it be the knowledge that I hold, that your ancestors are with you. None of us walks alone. If you're reading my words after I'm gone, I hope that you'll walk with the awareness that I too am with you. And may you step forward into the challenges your own life brings as our ancestors did, with courage, perseverance, hard work and hope.
