Our History

Our family's story is our country’s story, New England’s story, my story, and your story too. You can begin with "Joys and Fears," which explains why I've undertaken this project, or jump in wherever you see a title that catches your interest. From "Days of Judgment" through "To the Suburbs," the story unfolds chronologically. It covers both my mother's side, the Fairbanks family, and my father's, the Travises, from the time our earliest ancestors arrived in this New World in 1633.
