Days of Judgment

The first members of our family to arrive in New England were Jonathan and Grace Fairbanks, along with their six children, in 1633, followed by Henry Travers in 1634. He married Bridgett not long after. My mom was descended from Jonathan and Grace, and my father from Henry and Bridgett. Jonathan and Grace built what’s now the oldest surviving timber frame house in North America, pictured above. The posts below focus on Bridgett and Jonathan, beginning with a day of judgment that each of them faced ... and ending with their visit to my office.
